If your child is ill, then we ask that when you inform us of their absence, you give details of the illness and specify whether or not there are any covid symptoms. Please click here for more information on the main and wider symptoms of covid and the action which is required.
If your child is absent from school, we ask that you report the absence before 9:30am in one of the following ways:
In your email or message you need to give the reason for absence. If it is an illness, then we would require details of the illness.
If you have not reported your child’s absence then you will receive a phone call from school.
If your child arrives at school after 9:30am, then the morning session will be marked as an unauthorised absence.
If you plan to take your child out of school for an extended period of time such as for a holiday, then we kindly request that you inform us of your intentions in writing including the planned dates of absence. You can email this information to the following address: prif@st-padarnsrcp.ceredigion.sch.uk . All holidays will be marked on the register as unauthorised absence.
