Faith Ambassadors

A group of Faith Ambassadors are elected every year to help Mrs Brophy strengthen and enhance the Catholic life of the school. They play an essential part in embedding our motto in everything that we do, and guiding the whole school community in the aims of our Mission Statement:

“As we follow in Jesus’ footsteps, we grow in faith, love and learning.”

Our Faith Ambassadors lead by example, teaching us the values of the gospel in their actions and words, in the playground and in class, and in doing so live out their faith as modern day disciples.

They also help with practical tasks. During Mass, our Faith Ambassadors will often volunteer to read the readings or write the bidding prayers. They will help Father in setting up for Mass and clearing away afterwards. They maintain a prayer table outside the dinner hall with a display that changes seasonally. All children can visit this table and say a quiet prayer, or write down the name of someone that they would like us all to pray for.

They raise money for charities and run a prayer group for the younger children. They are just great!
