Over the past two years, we have been part of the National Professional Enquiry Project (NPEP). This programme is supporting a growing network of schools to develop a range of enquiry skills by leading enquiries in their own setting to explore professional learning requirements for the new curriculum
In 2020 – 21 our research project was called ‘Does attainment in writing standards increase following the teaching of Higher Order Reading skills (HORS)?’
In 2021-22 we ran a research project centred on the following question: ‘Reading environment – What is its impact on reading enjoyment?’
